What we are listening right now Part IV

After having a long period of being mainly into fusion jazz, the taste of music became a bit less virtuous and fast. But there is no way to be fed up with groove! Right now I am totally digging theStreetwalkers album „Downtown Flyers“ released on Vertigo Records... especially the A-side!

No other than Iron Maiden‘s Nicko McBrain plays drums on this awesome album from 1975. A little less TomToms for sure. On vocals is Roger Chapman who is best known for the vocals in Mike Oldfield‘s 80s hit „Shadow On The Wall“. A really unique voice back in times when it was not that important how you look like, if you are just talented. I recommend the song „Crawfish“, last Song in side A!
