MilesDavis - A Tribute To Jack Johnson
In the early 70s Miles Davis released a lot of really good
albums. The list of musicians appearing on these records is more than amazing: John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Jack DeJohnette, Joe Zawinul and so on. Everybody heard
of "Bitches Brew" but next to this album my absolute favourites are "On The Corner", "In A Silent Way" and "Live Evil" with the most crazy, satanic cover, you've ever seen 😉
It's always nice to discover a musicians discography, my
actual discovery is the album "A Tribute To Jack Johnson". Also on this album it seems that Davis' concept of choosing the right line up and record some improvisations is the best method to
create a whitness of history in music.
